One of the most quoted scriptures in the world today is “With God all things are possible.” The reason is not far-fetched. The world is hard enough. It is difficult for an average human to live through the day. Dreams that were once nursed are now far from reach. The economy and state of our nations scream “Impossibility”. The testimonies have become “It is impossible for our country to get better, for things to work, to get a job after graudation” and so on.
However, the truth still stands: all things are possible with God, especially for those who love and trust Him. So, in a world of impossibilities, what are God’s systems for possibilities?
- Mercy: It is obtainable at the throne of Grace as recorded in the book of Hebrews. It is what gives access to a sinner to God’s unlimited possibilities. The Bible records that we were all dead in sin until Jesus came and delivered us. In the same vein, walking in the possibilities of God is made available by His mercy—not by our workss. Titus.3:5 tells us, “He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.”
- Favor:This means to be preferred over the others. Eph.2:18-19 tells us, “For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household.”
- Grace: This is a multi-dimensional gift of God. It is an unmerited divine assistance given to man for his regeneration or sanctification—the book of Titus calls it the grace of God that brings salvation. Furthermore, grace is the unmerited favor of God and undeserved love filled with passion and intimacy, powered by commitment, sacrifice, and undeserved kindness. It is the power that saves us even when we are underserving.
The grace of God for possibilities gives man access to his or her next level, accepts a man, attracts goodness and helpers, and brings out the best in you. In the same vein, it establishes, strengthens, and settles you.
Here are two ways to connect to the grace for possibilities.
- Believe in Jesus: In Mark 9:23, Jesus says “All thing are possible to him who believes.” This is such a powerful verse that shows how God wants to work in partnership with our faith for the seemingly impossible things! It is beyond God holding all the power in His hands, it’s important to understand our roles in birthing possibilites in our ministry, family, careers, etc.
- Grow in Knowledge: The devil cannot cheat a man who knows. A great example is the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness where He put the devil to shame by boldly declaring God’s word. 2 Peter.1:2 tells us that grace is only multiplied through the knowledge of our Lord Jesus. Additionally, Apostle Paul commends us to the Word of His grace, which is able to build us up and give us an inheritance in Acts 20:32.
Conclusively, you can dwell in a realm of unlimited possibilities and enjoy great supernatural benefits when you are plugged into God’s word with faith. Henceforth, when the world around you projects what cannot be done, believe in God’s words and His promise of possibilities, and watch things turn around in your favor.
