Have you ever sat in your room without the lights on, away from friends and family, and cried your eyes out? Have you ever helped someone out in need when you had little to nothing, yourself? I have great news for you! They haven’t been in vain. You are about to step into a supernatural season where God multiplies what you’ve sown in secret—the prayers, the tears, the silent sacrifices.
In this article, I will be sharing six ways to manifest your uncommon harvest.
What does it mean to manifest? It means to make something real or tangible, often through focused thoughts, beliefs, and actions, or to make something evident or apparent. It also means to be seen; visible amid the multitude.
Spiritually, manifesting is about transforming ideas and desires into reality by aligning your thoughts, feelings, actions, and goals with God’s expectations for you. In Jeremiah 29:11-14, God says,
‘‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.’’
Often times, manifestation is associated with the concept of the Law of Attraction. It suggests that positive or negative thoughts attract corresponding experiences or circumstances into one’s life.
What is harvest? It is defined as the yield of your labor, the expected results of your effort, and the end product of your well nurtured sown seed on a well prepared environment. It can also be seen as an open door to your next level.
Hence, we must recognize that harvest does not come by accident, whether in our spiritual or personal lives. Every farmer understands the principle of sowing and reaping—it is a divine law established by God.
It requires faith, nurturing the sown seed, maintaining the soil, obeying the law expected harvest, and taking appropriate action. Uncommon harvest means a blessing or outcome that is significantly greater or more abundant than what would be expected.
Let’s consider two people in scripture who manifested an uncommon harvest:
1. Joseph (Genesis 41:38-44): After years of sowing faithfulness in Potiphar’s house and in prison, Joseph stepped into his harvest season when Pharaoh elevated him to second-in command over Egypt.
2. Ruth (Ruth 2:8-12, 4:13-17): She sowed loyalty and faithfulness by staying with Naomi. God honored her, and she became the great-grandmother of King David. These examples show that harvest is not accidental; it is intentional.
Here are ways to manifest yours:
1. Visualization: It is often said that ‘‘seeing is believing’’. Having a vision of what you want to achieve makes it easier. See the picture of your expected harvest. What you imagine becomes your reality. By visualizing abundance and receiving it in the spiritual realm, you align your faith with God’s promises.
2. Affirmation: Use the right words, because your words carry power. Speak about the vision, because your word is your life and your world.
The Bible says “Death and life are in the power of the tongue…’’. Therefore, your word determines how your life will go. Watch your word.
3. Action: Take calculated steps required to fulfill your goals. Affirmation without action is wishful thinking.
4. Sow: Galatians 6:7 reads ‘‘Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.’’ Just as a farmer carefully selects good seeds for planting, we must be intentional about sowing godly seeds, such as seeds of faith, service, kindness, obedience. Your future is hidden in the seeds you sow today.
5. Recognize Your Harvest Season: Some seasons feel dry, but they are part of the process—growth happens underground before the harvest appears.
To everything, there is a season. To recognize the nearness of your harvest, watch out for open doors, divine connections, acceleration, and inner conviction. It is important to discern rightly; a farmer who cannot discern the seasons may miss the time of harvest.
6. Make Quality Investments: The quality of your seed determines the quality of your harvest. That means, if you want to realize abundance of produce and harvest at the end of the season, then you must invest greatly in your planting season!
The difference between your today, and your tomorrow is the quality of seed you sow! The harvest season only responds to men who make contributions during the planting season. Examples of seeds you can sow include: your energy level, commitment to the things of God, your money, your creative idea, your relationships with others, your gifts and abilities are seeds, etc.
Hinderances to Your Uncommon Harvest
- Doubt and unbelief: James 1:6-7 warns against being double-minded.
- Disobedience: Deuteronomy 28:1-2 shows that obedience brings blessings.
- Lack of preparation: If you don’t prepare for rain, you may miss your harvest (2 Kings 4:3-6).
How to Activate Your Uncommon Harvest
To activate your harvest, you must learn to speak life (Proverbs 18:21), take action (James 2:26), step out in faith, and sow again (2 Corinthians 9:6). Faith is not just waiting for the harvest; it is stepping out and gathering what God has provided.
To live in perpetual harvest, you must keep the cycle going: sow, wait, reap, repeat. The secret to sustained harvest is generosity and obedience and the key to continuous harvest is never stopping the cycle of sowing (Genesis 8:22 ASV).
Dear believer, You have a choice to make—to eat your seed or sow it. Ultimately, it determines the future you create! Unfortunately, many people only dream about harvest time without sowing. You cannot expect an harvest when you have not sown.
In conclusion, your harvest is not a matter of chance; it is a divine principle. Just as Joseph and Ruth reaped their reward, God has a harvest prepared for you. Stay faithful, stay expectant, and take action in obedience to God’s Word. Your harvest season is here—manifest it!
Prayer: ‘‘Lord, open my eyes to recognize my harvest season. Remove every hindrance, and give me the faith and wisdom to walk in my harvest. Amen.’’
- Thoughts of God.
