Trained as a clinical microbiologist and participated in various leadership training programs, he has undergone his doctoral degree in theology with Christ Life Bible Institute and Seminary in New York, USA. He is the branch pastor of the Holy Ghost Christian Center in Union, NJ, USA.
As a son of missionaries, Joseph Siju has always learned from others on his path to success. His desire is to help others discover their God-given destiny and purpose on earth. Joseph is married to Ololade, a devoted and loving woman of many desires, with a wonderful, beautiful girl and two handsome boys.
When pastor Joseph Siju opened the NJ branch nearly 20 years ago, he not only envisioned a place where people can receive salvation, but a place where people can get the right help they need to develop their personal lives. Getting yourself right with God is one thing, but having the tools to succeed here on Earth is another and Holy Ghost Christian Center, located on 1323 Burnet Ave, Union N.J. prides itself with its ability to deliver on it.
Siju is not only a full-time pastor for the church, but also a previous professor at Essex County College and The New Jersey Institute of Technology. Both duties, as a lecturer and preacher, require precious amounts of time from his personal and family life. He doesn’t complain about it, rather he enjoys impacting the lives of others and leading them on the right path to salvation. “Being a full-time pastor requires involvement in the life of people. Being able to guide and direct them, and ultimately groom them to become better people,” Siju said. “Despite the challenges that are going on in their lives, getting the best out of them is what is important.”
Pastor Joseph is focused on developing the youth and children’s ministry so the younger generations are aligned on the right path. His love for the word of God, has inspired the creation of thoughts of God. A brand and platform where people from all walks of life can be assured that God does exist and he cares about the affairs of his creation.
A common myth Pastor Joseph seeks to debunk is the idea that God does not speak and even if he does, we cannot hear him. The formation of the thoughts of God draws from his personal relationship with God. Joseph hopes to share with everyone snippets of his secret place where we can learn to discern what God sounds like and develop healthy practices that allow us to hear and understand him.
A consistent listening of the thoughts of God is a great way to renew your thoughts, meditate on the word of God and have the awareness that God is with us.
